Virgin boss Branson to speak at KL forum

KUALA LUMPUR: Founder and chairman of the Virgin Group Richard Branson will be in town to take part in a forum entitled Dawn of the New Decade – Alternative Investment in Asia.

The billionaire is expected to outline his thoughts on the current investment landscape and on the growing importance of Asia.

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak will present the keynote address at the two-day forum to be held at Renaissance Hotel here on Sept 27 and Sept 28.

The event is being staged by the International Herald Tribune in association with the London Speaker Bureau.

Other speakers are Mary Buffet, daughter-in-law of world renowned investor Warren Buffet, Anil Gupta, an expert on strategy and globalisation, one of the China’s most influential economists Dr Fang Gang, and Augusto Lopez-Carlos, the chief economist with the World Economic Forum.
