KUANTAN: The 10-year biotechnology strategic action plan to be launched on Monday is expected to generate about RM2bil in income for Pahang, said state Information, Science, Technology and Innovation Committee chairman Datuk Mohd Sharkar Shamsuddin.
Mohd Sharkar said that besides helping to diversify the state’s source of income, the blueprint would create 30,000 new job opportunities and 100 new companies with biotechnology as their core business.
