KUCHING: The Human Rights Commission of Malaysia (Suhakam) Sarawak has refused to act as adviser to a proposed task force to investigate alleged rape and sexual exploitation of Penan women and girls by loggers.
Representatives of several non-government organisations met in Miri yesterday afternoon to form the task force and they had invited Suhakam to be their adviser.
