KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia and the United Kingdom have signed a treaty to enhance mutual assistance in combating cross-border crime.
Although both countries have enjoyed a highly cooperative relationship, the Mutual Assistance in Criminal Matters Treaty would provide a clear legal framework for future collaboration, said British High Commissioner to Malaysia Boyd McCleary.
