PETALING JAYA: The federal government is maintaining that Selangor will face a water crisis beginning 2012 if the Pahang-Selangor water transfer infrastructure and other mitigation projects are not implemented.
Deputy Minister Energy, Green Technology and Water Ministry Noriah Kasnon said the delayed RM9bil water transfer project was crucial to secure the state’s water supply until 2025.
