SHAH ALAM: Malaysian Trades Union Congress (MTUC) president Syed Shahir Syed Mohamud has called on all trade unions in the country to reject the proposed amendments to the Labour Law 2010 by the Ministry of Human Resources, which he says would oppress workers.
He claimed that the proposed amendments would not look after the welfare of the workers in the various aspects, including the issue on minimum wage and the payment of compensation to workers who lose their jobs due to their negligence.
