SUBANG JAYA: Motorists can now get free copies of The Star FIFA World Cup 16-page special edition at all four toll plazas on the Kesas Highway.
Kesas Highway public relations executive Khairani Mohamed Salleh said giving the special edition to motorists would keep football fans updated on the latest in the World Cup.
Alex, 40, a Germany fan, got his copy at the Sunway Toll plaza. He found the special edition to be informative and colourful.
Another motorist, Nelan, 31, said the special edition made it easier for him to know the results, group standings and match schedules.
Also present at the same toll plaza yesterday was Star Publications (M) Bhd circulation corporate sponsorship unit senior executive Alvin K.T. Liew, who said that 1,000 copies of the special edition would be given out every day at the toll plaza for the duration of the World Cup. He said that since June 12, The Star had distributed 120,000 free copies.
