KUCHING: Subsidy cuts are necessary but it must be done “gradually and smartly,” said Land Development Minister Datuk Seri Dr James Masing.
He agreed with Minister in the Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Idris Jala who last month said Malaysia risked becoming bankrupt by 2019 if subsidies were not cut.
