PUTRAJAYA: Retailers who are planning to stop selling controlled items such as sugar, cooking oil and flour from June 15, have been urged to reconsider.
Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism Ministry secretary-general Datuk Mohd Zain Mohd Dom said his ministry had met its “end of the bargain” by extending the deadline to obtain the licence to July 1, waiving the RM10 one-off fee and issuing the licence within a day.
