AMMAN: As MV Rachel Corrie forges ahead with efforts to deliver humanitarian aid for Gaza, the Malaysian Government, which does not recognise Israel, is keeping in touch with “friendly embassies” in Tel Aviv in case the ship faces problems and is stopped by Israeli forces.
Malaysian ambassador to Jordan Datuk Abdul Malek Abdul Aziz stressed that although Rachel Corrie was not a government mission, it was concerned about the safety of six Malaysians on board.
