SHAH ALAM: Barely a year into operations, the board of directors and employees of a sand-mining company belonging to the Selangor state government were given six months’ bonus - in December 2008 and in June 2009.
This was revealed by Kumpulan Semesta Sdn Bhd (KSSB)’s nonexecutive chairman Abdul Shukor Nagor at the public inquiry of the Select Committee for Competency, Accountability and Transparency (Selcat).
