PETALING JAYA: A former bank customer service officer was sentenced to seven years’ jail and three lashes of the rotan by the Sessions Court here for raping a college student in a room while his friends cheered him on outside.
Ahmad Muhaimin Abdullah, 27, was found guilty of raping the then 22-year-old student, whom he had claimed was his lover, in a room at Seri Pelangi Apartment at 3pm on Dec 28, 2004.
