Indian national fined RM5,000 for having 1,839 uncensored DVDs


KUALA LUMPUR: A DVD seller was fined RM5,000, in default three months jail, by the Magistrate's Court here Monday for possessing 1,839 DVDs of various titles that had not been approved by the Film Censorship Board.

Washimali Kaleelraguman, 29, an Indian national, pleaded guilty to possessing the DVDs at Hatiga (M) Sdn Bhd, G6 Plaza City One Condo, Jalan Munshi Abdullah at 4.10pm last Saturday.
