THE Senate has rejected an emergency motion to debate the issue of surrendering two oil-rich blocks to Brunei.
Senate president Tan Sri Abu Zahar Ujang rejected the emergency motion by Dr Syed Husin Ali in chambers, on grounds that it was not urgent although it was specific and was of public interest.
