GEORGE TOWN: The plaster ceiling collapse at the State Legislative Assembly building has been blamed on possible negligence by the contractor in charge of installing the air conditioning system there.
Speaker Datuk Abdul Halim Hussain said preliminary checks revealed that the weight of the air conditioning hose had caused the plaster ceiling above the building’s public gallery to collapse.
