PETALING JAYA: Commercial vehicle and public transport operators hope that Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak will personally oversee the soon-to-be-set-up Land Public Transport Commission to ensure the organisation’s effectiveness.
Pan Malaysian Bus Operators Association president Datuk Ashfar Ali said the Suruhanjaya Pengangkutan Awan Darat Bill, which was recently tabled and passed by the Dewan Rakyat, stated that the commission would be placed under the purview of the Prime Minister.
