PUTRAJAYA: The Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) arrested 64 people between January and April this year for offering bribes involving RM200,000 in cash.
MACC Investigation Director Mustafar Ali said traffic offenders topped the number of bribe givers at 21 followed by foreigners (19 cases) regarding work permit applications, and there were seven cases of attempted bribery as an inducement to cover up crimes.
