KUALA LUMPUR: A mini-series and a documentary on Sybil Karthigasu, a Eurasian nurse who quietly supplied medicines, medical services and information to the resistance forces during World War II, will be featured on two Astro channels (105 and 131 respectively) next month.
The shows are released under Astro’s Suatu Ketika (Once Upon A Time) campaign, which aims to build a sense of local history among Malaysians. Over the past year, 10 titles have been aired under the campaign - myths like Puteri Gunung Ledang and Mahsuri, football legend Mokthar Dahari and the infamous criminal Botak Chin.
