Temerloh to house National Zoo’s ‘twin’

KUANTAN: The state has identified a suitable site in Temerloh to build a zoo that can complement the National Zoo in Kuala Lumpur, which is getting cramped due to rapid development in its surrounding areas.

State Tourism, Arts and Heritage Committee chairman Datuk Shafiq Fauzan Sharif said, “Pahang is blessed with a natural environment that is suitable for a zoo that can complement the main zoo (in KL),”
