Seven women among 23 pimps arrested in Sabah last year for prostitution


KOTA KINABALU: Sabah police have crippled several human trafficking syndicates and arrested 23 pimps, including seven women, for luring women in sex trade from last year till March this year.

State police anti-vice and gaming officer DSP Mohd Taufik Maidin said 35 women, mostly from a neighbouring country, were rounded up in three raids at prostitution dens, including those in Keningau.
