KUCHING: The Election Commission (EC) has budgeted RM1.2mil for the Sibu by-election, mainly to cover logistics and allowances for its personnel.
State EC director Datuk Takun Sunggah said 212 vehicles, including some four-wheel drives, and eight longboats would be used in the by-election.
