BALIK PULAU: The state’s top cop is concerned about soaring housing rents in Penang, saying that it has “put undue pressure” on policemen who were transferred to the island for duty.
Penang police chief Deputy Comm Datuk Wira Ayub Yaakob said the monthly housing rentals were beyond a policeman’s financial ability, including police officers.
