The former Prime Minister and eight others were elected at a general meeting of BFA members held ahead of its annual conference in Boao, China’s southern Hainan province. The meeting began yesterday and will end tomorrow.

Tomorrow, Abdullah will be one of the panelists for a session titled “Beyond Chiang Mai Initiative: Regional Financial Cooperation in Asia”.

Themed “Green Recovery: Asia’s Realistic Choice for Sustainable Growth”, this year’s conference attracted nearly 2,000 delegates from Asia and other parts of the world.
