KUANTAN: Thieves broke into the famed Kuan Ti temple in Jalan Gambang here and carted away prayer items made of copper with some weighing 80kg.
Among the items stolen were joss stick canisters weighing about 80kg each, incense oil burners, copper gongs and even a radio cassette player. The total loss was estimated at about RM50,000.
