True to the “People First, Performance Now” slogan, the Government has introduced MyID initiative, where the identity card number is used as the sole reference number for Malaysian citizens in their individual capacity when dealing with Government agencies.
This initiative was officially launched by the Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin on January 18, 2010.
