KUALA LUMPUR: Two prosecution witnesses, who had filed police reports claiming veteran lawyer Karpal Singh was seditious, agreed with him Tuesday that the Sultan could in fact be brought to court after being informed that there were such provisions under the Federal Constitution.
Gagasan Melayu Perak president Datuk Seri Mohd Helmi Ismail, 67, and Tanjung Umno Youth Chief Jefri Salim, 33, agreed with Karpal that if the Federal Constitution provided for it, then it could be done.
