June 3 date over seizure of ‘Allah’ CDs

KUALA LUMPUR: The High Court fixed June 3 for case management of Jill Ireland Lawrence Bill’s challenge against the Home Ministry’s decision to seize religious materials containing the word “Allah” in eight compact discs (CDs) from her.

Senior assistant registrar Halilah Suboh fixed the date in chambers after meeting Ireland’s lawyer Annou Xavier and Senior Federal Counsel Andi Razalijaya A. Dadi, who stood for the respondents, yesterday.
