MALACCA: MCA deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek has described recent reports on the possibility of eight MCA MPs leaving the party to apply for direct Barisan Nasional membership as mere rumours.
“I think these are just rumours. Barisan is just talking about amending its constitution and at the moment, nobody knows how and when it will be done,” he told reporters after attending a Chinese New Year dinner gathering organised by Tangga Batu MCA last night.
