KOTA KINABALU: Sabah is studying the possibility of doubling the annual land tax of RM1.50 per acre on oil palm plantations operated by corporations in four districts in the state.
Such a move would provide more revenue for the district councils in the respective areas to carry out activities for the benefit of the ratepayers, state Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Hajiji Noor said.
