Senator Ahmad Rusli withdraws suit over his datukship revocation


KUALA LUMPUR: Senator Ahmad Rusli Iberahim has withdrawn his suit against the Kelantan Regent to challenge the revocation of his datukship, as a Justice of the Peace (JP) and his other Kelantan badges of honour.

On Monday, High Court (Appellate and Special Powers) judge Justice Aziah Ali was all set to hear his judicial review application in her chambers but his lawyer, K. Shanmuga said his client had formally withdrawn his civil suit to challenge the matter on Sunday.
