KOTA BARU: Deputy Finance Minister Senator Datuk Dr Awang Adek Hussein has been appointed chairman of the Disbursement Committee for the RM20mil Kelantan “compassionate fund.”
International Trade and Industry Minister Datuk Seri Mustapa Mohamed said Dr Awang Adek, who is also deputy chairman of the Kelantan Umno Liaison Body, had been appointed to manage the compassionate fund in his capacity as the Deputy Finance Minister.
