MALACCA: A former manager of CIMB bank’s Jasin branch pleaded not guilty in the Sessions Court here Tuesday to receiving a RM500 bribe two years ago.
Mokhtar Ali, 53, from Taman Peringgit Jaya here, is alleged to have received the bribe on April 23 2008 from Ramli Meirad, 32, to facilitate the opening of a current account in view of the customer allegedly being placed on a blacklist.
