JOHOR BARU: The business community here will support a move to progressively introduce the Goods and Services Tax (GST) but wants the Government to monitor the situation strictly to ensure its effectiveness.
Malaysian Indian Business Association president P. Sivakumar said the Government should implement a trial period for the new tax scheme to see how the business market would react to the move.
