KUCHING: High electricity connection charges have been cited as one of reasons for the higher cost of doing business in Sarawak, according to a joint study by UiTM Sarawak and Swinburne University of Technology.
Industries were charged RM1mil to connect to Syarikat SESCo’s 33kv network, UiTM Sarawak associate professor Annie Wong said yesterday.
