TANGKAK: One of five men who were charged with kidnapping a housewife near Sungai Mati in June claimed that he was tortured while in police detention.
Woon Soon Teck, 23, told his counsel Hisyam Teh Poh Teik about the alleged mistreatment when he and the other accused were brought before magistrate Mohd Yassir Mohd Nasri yesterday.
