JOHOR BARU: An average of 54 motorcyclists in the state die every month in accidents — with 90% of the deaths occurring due to severe head injuries, said state executive councillor Datuk Ahmad Zahri Jamil.
He added from Jan to Oct this year, the state recorded an alarming 898 road fatalities and 60% of them were related to motorcyclists.
