KOTA BARU: At least 1,000 people gathered in front of Kota Darul Naim yesterday, demanding that Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat step down as Mentri Besar.

They were unhappy with his sermon asking the people of Kelantan to pray for Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak’s downfall if the federal government did not pay oil royalty to the state.
