KUALA LUMPUR: Low-cost carrier Firefly has apologised to passengers over flight delays during the Aidiladha weekend which it attributed to an aircraft being temporarily out of service because of a certain technical defect which took two days to rectify.
Firefly managing director Eddy Leong said yesterday that the defect was not major but rectification took longer than expected due to the wait for spare parts from overseas while the back-up aircraft also had a minor defect on Friday which was cleared quickly.
