KUALA LUMPUR: A total of 31,046 vouchers in the RM5,000 rebate scheme for car owners to trade in their old Proton or Perodua cars have been given out since the move was introduced from March 10 until Nov 1, Deputy Finance Minister Datuk Chor Chee Heung said.

He said the RM5,000 cash vouchers were part of the economic stimulus package announced in March to help car-owners who want to replace their old Proton and Perodua cars aged 10 years or more.
