Norman-Memey khalwat case: Testimony was not true

KUALA LUMPUR: The Gombak Timur Syariah Court, which is hearing the khalwat case involving actor Norman Hakim and actress Memey Suhaiza, was given a another version of how the couple was arrested by the Selangor Islamic Religious Department (JAIS).

Gombak Barat religious enforcement officer Kyrool Nizam Khairuddin said the testimony by Abdul Rahman Lai Abdullah, a JAIS enforcement officer who was the first prosecution witness, was not true and conflicting.
