MELBOURNE: A Malaysian jailed for the murder of renowned heart surgeon Dr Victor Chang will soon walk free after having served his minimum 18-year jail sentence.
Dr Chang, 54, was shot dead on a footpath at Mosman in Sydney’s northern suburbs on July 4, 1991. This followed a failed extortion attempt by Liew Chew Seng alias Ah Sung and the Malaysian, Philip Lim Choon Tee.
