THE Women, Family and Community Development Ministry spent RM364,657.50 to organise the Women’s Summit 2009 and RM491,000 for Women’s Day this year.
Minister Datuk Seri Shahrizat Abdul Jalil, who said this in a written reply to Fong Po Kuan (DAP - Batu Gajah) added that 1,500 participants attended the summit while 4,000 took part in the Women’s Day’s event.
