PETALING JAYA: The Education Ministry has addressed an alleged bullying incident in a secondary school in Bandar Utama reported in the media.

In a statement yesterday, the ministry responded to a letter published in StarEducation’s Let’s Hear It section on Aug 16.

In the letter titled ‘Just a Big Bully’, a reader complained about a female clerk of a secondary school, who allegedly verbally assaulted a student, who sought permission from the clerk to see a teacher.

Necessary steps have been taken by the Petaling Utama education office and the principal, said the ministry in the statement.
