RM500,000 in bonuses, thanks to box-office hits

LOCAL movie producer David Teo gave out more than RM500,000 in bonuses in the form of cash, a house and a car to artistes and workers under his company Metrowealth International Group.

In an interview with Harian Metro, Teo, who started giving out bonuses in 2003 for each film that grossed at least RM3mil, said he had worked hard for 15 years after coming to Kuala Lumpur in 1985, and had very little financial gain to show or to share.
