IPOH: The Perak Appeals Board has ordered the Ipoh City Council to direct the Royal Perak Golf Club to shut down and demolish a sewage treatment plant facing Taman Golf, a residential area.
In allowing the appeal of Taman Golf residents over the construction of the plant, the three-man appeals board panel chaired by Datuk N.H. Chan said it was incumbent upon the council to enforce the order immediately.
