MIRI: The dispute over iron bridges between the natives of interior central Sarawak and a major timber company has attracted the attention of a Federal deputy minister who has promised to intervene on the people’s behalf.
Deputy Rural and Regional Development Minister Joseph Belaun Entulu told the Penans and the natives living in the affected regions that he would speak to the boss of the timber company, the state minister concerned and his own minister about the issue.
