PETALING JAYA: The consent of the MCA disciplinary board must be obtained first before any complaint can be withdrawn, said board secretary Ivan Chen.
The Aug 4 hearing into the DVD sex scandal involving deputy president Datuk Seri Dr Chua Soi Lek would proceed as the complaint remained valid, he added in a statement issued Friday.
