PETALING JAYA: The National Higher Education Fund Corporation (PTPTN) has begun implementing education financing using the Ujrah (syariah-compliant financing product) concept.
An Ujrah borrower has to be a student and those with outstanding loans would need to settle them before they are eligible for the Ujrah facility. A borrower who has been convicted by a court is also not eligible for the loan.
