SEPANG: Some 125,000 children of school-going age in the rural and interior areas are not attending primary school, said Education Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
Muhyiddin, who is also the Deputy Prime Minister, said Malaysia had a good track record in its efforts to achieve Unesco’s objective of making education available to all, but more needed to be done to ensure all the children attended school.
