KOTA KINABALU: Power rationing continues to haunt consumers in Sabah as the state’s utility company is still dogged by a drop in electricity generation shortfalls since April.
Having promised that power supply would return to normal by the end of June, Sabah Electricity Sdn Bhd (SESB) has announced another round of load shedding, claiming that its generating capacity could not meet power demands following new problems at some of the independent power plants (IPPs).
